The university is reopening Tuesday at noon, two hours after a thaw is expected to set in.
The National Weather Service’s forecast predicts a low of 27 degrees tonight. There is a chance of freezing drizzle according to the forecast.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 39 degrees. The forecast also predicts a slight chance of rain before midnight Tuesday and a snowfall before noon Wednesday.
Union Grounds is open until 9 p.m. Monday, according to an email from Mike Russel, assistant vice chancellor for student affairs.
Market Square closed at 7 p.m. and the BLUU and the Multipurpose Building will still close at 2 a.m.
Information on dining services for Tuesday is still unknown.
