DALLAS (AP) — Kelsey Lang had 14 points on 7-of-11 shooting and No. 6 seed Texas women knocked off third-seeded TCU 67-61 in the Big 12 quarterfinals on Saturday.

The Longhorns (21-9) held off a late challenge from the Horned Frogs to advance to the semifinals where they will face No. 2 seed Oklahoma on Sunday.

Zahna Medley hit a 3-pointer with 46 seconds left that capped a 7-1 run and closed TCU (17-13) within four. Texas made only 2 of 7 free throws from there but held TCU scoreless.

Ariel Atkins had 12 points and eight rebounds and Empress Davenport added 11 and nine for Texas, which outrebounded TCU 48-34.

Texas scored the last seven of the first half and opened with the first four of the second for their biggest lead at 42-24.

Medley had 15 points and Veja Hamilton had 14 to lead the Horned Frogs.
