When 17-year old Deion Jackson-Houston died in a train accident in 2010, Kyan Anderson said he knew how he wanted to honor his legacy.
Jackson-Houston, a close friend and teammate of Anderson’s, wore the number five in high school. So Anderson requested to wear number five throughout his TCU career, in honor of Jackson-Houston.
Anderson’s TCU career ended last week in a Big 12 Tournament loss to Kansas, but he said he is looking to continue his basketball career, either in the NBA or abroad.
