Monday's Rain Storm in Photos

Heavy rainfall woke up North Texans Monday morning, and while the rain seems to have come to a halt in the 109, showers could possibly make another appearance by night.
There is a chance for more rain Monday night. Storms could become severe, possibly bringing hail and heavy gusts of wind to the area, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).
Heavy downpour caused the NWS to call for a flash flood warning in the 109 from 10:25-11:15 a.m. Drivers were advised to travel at extreme caution after vehicles were left stranded along Hulen Street and Camp Bowie Boulevard, according to the Star-Telegram. Rain also accumulated along West Berry Street, causing some areas of the street to flood.

Monday isn’t the only day that it is expected to rain, however. The NWS predicts that rain and thunderstorms will occur throughout the week.
Fort Worth is expected to have a break from the rain on Sunday, but it is projected that there could be storms in the area until Sunday, according to the NWS.
