A TCU security guard has been given a criminal trespass warning for “improper photography or visual recording,” Sgt. Kelly Ham wrote in an email to TCU Saturday evening.

Alexander Marin was arrested after a female student said she “saw a hand under the stall holding a cell phone with the lens point at her” while in the women’s restroom of the Mary Couts Burnett Library on April 20, according to Ham’s email.

The report was made to the TCU Police Department by the  student on Wednesday, April 22.

Marin’s job has been terminated and he was issued a criminal trespass warning, which bars him from coming onto campus.

Ham also wrote that the TCU Police Department “has reason to believe Marin may have done this at other times during the previous two months while at the library.”

He asked anyone with more information to contact the TCU Police Department’s criminal investigations unit at 817-257-6637.
