College students seem to have a reliance on caffeine to get them through lectures and late night study sessions, but there are healthier alternatives to power through the day.

Parking options for this weekend's Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial

The 69th Crowne Plaza invitational at Colonial is expecting nearly 140,000 visitors this weekend and there are three main public parking spots to meet the needs of those visitors.
Two public parking lots will be available and cost $10 a day. The first of the parking lots are located at Rockwood lane off of N. University Drive between White Settlement road and Jacksboro Highway. The other public parking lot is at the Farrington Field at the intersection of University Drive and Lancaster.
Both parking lots will have shuttles to take spectators to and from the Colonial Country Club.
The third main parking lot is the premier parking lot located at 3570 Bellaire Drive on TCU’s campus. This lot requires a credential and does not accept payment at the lot.
Colonial’s website also encourages people to use Uber to attend the event. A promo code,“Colonial1969”, will provide a $20 discount off of the first ride.
The Colonial Country Club also offers free bike parking for Thursday through Sunday. The free bike parking is located off the Trinity Trails near the Rodgers Road overpass. the tournament and Colonial will donate $10 to Streams & Valleys for each bike parked.
