The filming for the 6th annual Frogs for the Cure music video took place in the campus commons Sunday afternoon.
Participants arrived dressed in the official 2015 Frogs for the Cure t-shirt, eager to show off their dance moves.
Communities from all around Fort Worth were in attendance including TCU athletes, students and breast cancer survivors.
Many survivors said they were humbled at the support and encouragement that Frogs for the Cure has given them through their fight against breast cancer.
“With the support, it makes [battling breast cancer] a lot easier for you when you have someone that you can talk to and to be there to support them in anyway that you possibly can,” said Sandy Hives-McCray.
This year’s video will include the song “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” performed by Luke Wade and Mia Z from NBC’s the Voice.
Frogs for the Cure Chair and 9-year survivor, Ann Louden, said that this song was not only chosen for its catchy tune, but for its impactful lyrics.
“As I’m a survivor, I look at the words that say “don’t worry”, “I’ll be there for you” and some way some how we’re going to find an answer to this disease,” said Louden.
The full music video will be revealed at halftime of the TCU Frogs for the Cure Football Game vs. West Virginia on October 29.
