UPDATE 6:15 p.m: Redshirt freshman wide receiver Andre Petties-Wilson has also been arrested in connection with the robbery.
TCU senior defensive end Mike Tuaua has been arrested by the Fort Wort Police Department Monday evening on felony robbery charges, according to NBCDFW.com.
The charges stem from an altercation Tuaua and another suspect, believed to be a fellow football player, were involved in late at night on Friday, Sept. 4, according to NBC.
A campus crime alert issued after the event said that three students were assaulted and robbed after three suspects left a party and encountered the students outside.
The crime alert identified one of the suspects as an athletic man with long bushy hair tied back into a ponytail, which matches Tuaua’s familiar hairstyle, seen above.
Tuaua played in the Horned Frogs’ win over Minnesota, but did not dress out for TCU’s last two games, although he appeared on the depth chart against SMU.
TCU360 will have more information on the story as it develops.
