The TCU men’s golf team traveled out west for their second tournament of the season, finishing tied for 9th in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate Tournament in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The team finished with a three-round, 25-over par, total score of 889. Junior Chelso Barrett led the way with a one-over par 217 total score, landing him in a tie for 16th place individually. A second round score of 71 was the highlight of the tournament for Barrett.
Barrett was closely followed by Paul Barjon, who finished at 220, and Triston Fisher, who posted a 224 for the tournament. Sarosh Adi and Pierre Mazier rounded out the Frogs’ team score, concluding play at 228 and 232 respectively. The Frogs also had two individual scorers, whose totals did not count towards the team’s overall score: Giulio Castagnara at 220 and Turner McLean at 222.
