The Horned Frogs wrapped up their third tournament of the fall with a seasonal best team score of 852 on Tuesday at the Nike Golf Collegiate Invitational in North Plains, Oregon.
On the final day of the tournament, the team shot 292, which put them at 8 under par for the tournament and landed them a ninth place finish in the field of 15 teams. The first round score of 279 was the best yet for the Horned Frogs this season.
Junior Giulio Castagnara had his best outing of the season and led the team with a score of 211, which individually earned him a tie for 24th place. Just one stroke behind Castagnara was junior Chelso Barrett, who finished in a tie for 28th.

The team will hit the course next in Storrs, Connecticut, for the Connecticut Cup on Oct. 12-13. The two day event will mark the final tournament for the team until the spring.
