Women’s golf finishes 11th in Washington

Women’s golf posted a score of 925 at the Edean Ihlanfeldt tournament in Sammamish, Washington.

The TCU women’s golf team finished the Edean Ihlanfeldt tournament in Sammamish, Washington with an 11th place finish. The team’s score of 925 was 33 strokes behind first place San Diego State’s 892.

Junior Kelly McGovern and freshman Sabina Pena were TCU’s low scorers for the tournament. The pair tied for 29th individually, both shooting 229s.

Freshman Annika Clark led the team in birdies with three. Freshman Brooke Graebe followed closely behind, birdieing twice in her opening seven holes.

The team’s next appearance will be in Texas when it plays its final tournament of the fall season at the Alamo Invitational in San Antonio. Play will begin on Oct. 25.
