In the final tournament of the fall season, the Horned Frogs posted a record-breaking 845 team score to capture the title at the Connecticut Cup.
The team’s 19-under-par finish was 26 strokes better than second-place finishers Boston College and Dartmouth. It was also a new tournament record, beating the previous record of 3-under-par set by the University of Connecticut in 2014.
Senior Paul Barjon also claimed the individual title for the tournament.
Barjon shot a 68 in his final round and totaled a score of 205 for the tournament to come away with the second individual tournament title of his career. The score broke the previous Connecticut Cup tournament record of 209.
Junior Chelso Barrett followed closely, posting a 206 and finishing one stroke behind Barjon. The duo combined to shoot 21-under-par for the tournament.

With the fall season coming to a close, the Frogs will prepare for the spring season and return to the course on Feb. 4 in Waikoloa, Hawaii.
