Two people were taken to a hospital by MedStar after a two car wreck at the corner of McCart and McPherson avenues.
The crash happened around 7 p.m. Monday.
Cody Cox, a bystander, said a Kia driven by a young woman did not stop at a stop sign. The Kia broadsided a Buick traveling on McCart and being driven by an older woman, Cox said.  She added the young woman did not appear to be wearing a seat belt.
Fire fighters arrived  and shut down part of McCart Avenue until about 7:42 p.m.
The Buick ended up on a lawn near the intersection. The Kia swerved into a nearby driveway. Their conditions were unknown as 8 p.m.
