After one quarter of play, the Paschal Panthers (3-5) and Arlington Martin Warriors (6-2) were all tied at seven points at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.
439 rushing yards and 87 points later, the Warriors never looked back.
Arlington Martin’s most productive quarter came in the second as they rushed for six touchdowns, recovered another in the end zone and forced a safety on their way to a 59-7 halftime lead.
The Warriors’ scoring drives relied strictly on the running game as senior quarterback Eric Walker completed just four passes on eight attempts for 60 yards and zero touchdowns.
Despite trailing most of the game, Paschal stuck with their running game. Edwin Allen lead the way for the Panthers with 185 yards rushing and a touchdown. Panthers quarterback Cooper Bates completed 50 percent of his passes for 143 yards.
The Panthers managed to put 13 points on the board late in the fourth quarter to make it 87-20 final.
Paschal will host Arlington Bowie next Friday at 7:30 p.m.
