Abby Faber is flying in to catch TCU’s game tonight

TCU gained a fan while at the Iowa State game and tonight that fan is joining the Frogs again. Abby Faber, the young girl who TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin talked to at the coin toss before the Iowa State game, is flying in with her family from Iowa to watch the game. Todd Unger a reporter for WFAA Channel 8 News in Dallas tweeted a picture of Faber and her family on the plane to Fort Worth.

After the photograph taken by Star-Telegram photographer Paul Moseley went viral, Faber has been in the national spotlight. She’s also won over many fans at TCU. After hearing the story about Faber, many TCU fans pledged their support in an online fundraiser for Faber to help offset her medical expenses. Kick off for TCU against West Virginia University is set for 6:30 pm in Amon G. Carter stadium.
