Game day on TCU campus is everything a Horned Frog could ever want. The smell of hamburgers on the grill, the sound of the TCU marching band in Frog Alley, the chants of “Go Frogs” on everyone’s lips, and of course, the anticipation of some good Horned Frog football. And what better way to show your school spirit than picking the perfect game day outfit? Here are a few spirited game day looks!

How do you decide what to wear for game days?
I always try to incorporate purple into my game day outfit, whether it be my pants, top or a piece of jewelry! And I always wear something I feel confident in.
Where does your fashion inspiration come from?
I would say my fashion inspiration comes from a combination of things. I follow so many fashion bloggers who have such different styles, so I like to pull ideas from them. Currently one of my favorites is Sincerely Jules! And I’m obsessed with anything Free People. My friends say I could be a poster child for Free People because that’s pretty much where my entire wardrobe is from.

I tend to choose pieces that are not only super unique, but also comfortable and not too hot for the long day ahead.

How do you decide what to wear for game days?
As a former Spirit Squad member at TCU, dressing up for game days is a fairly new and exciting task for me. I love getting to plan my outfits each week and get a lot of extra help from my sorority sisters. I prefer wearing white because of my olive skintone, and always find myself pairing with some cute purple accessories. I came across this particular dress at Runway Seven last Spring, and knew it was worth saving for the first game of the season!
Where does your fashion inspiration come from?
My fashion inspiration mostly comes from Pintrest and online fashion sites that I find on Instagram. I am also an avid window shopper, and find myself stopping in boutiques around Fort Worth whenever I need a new outfit! My personal favorite is Beehive.

How do you decide what to wear for game days?
I try to find something comfortable and that’s appropriate for the weather conditions. At TCU games we are always walking around a lot and in big groups at tailgates or in the student section.
Where does your fashion inspiration come from?
I am always looking at bloggers on Instagram. On a college student budget not everything can be designer. When they post links to similar items for not as expensive, that’s my go to.

How do you decide what to wear for game days?:
There’s a method to the madness! First I pull out all of my white, black, and purple pieces from my closet. Then I start mixing and matching until I find something that is cute. I like my outfits to be casual and cool since the games are typically so hot! Living with 15 girls all around me, I have plenty of input too!
Where does your fashion inspiration come from?:
Coming from Austin, I am inspired by the laid back, “hippy” vibe from my hometown. I love Free People and Urban Outfitters, the majority of my closet is from there!
