A TCU student was robbed in his home on Wednesday night.

A TCU student living in an off-campus residence was robbed at gunpoint in his home on Wednesday night, according to a crime alert sent out by TCU Police Department Detective Robert Rangel.

The student was in his home with several guests in 2600 block of Boyd Avenue when three Hispanic males in their late teens or early 20s entered the residence armed with two semi-automatic pistols and a revolver, Rangel said.

The student and the guests were unharmed, but were robbed and then locked inside a closet, according to the crime alert.

One suspect was wearing a dust/pollen mask, another was wearing a dark hoodie, and the other was wearing a University of Texas sweatshirt, and they may have fled the scene in a gray or tan pickup truck, Rangel said.

TCUPD and the Fort Worth P0lice Department are jointly investigating the robbery. Anyone with information is urged to dial 911 or 817-257-7777.
