One person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a white SUV driven by a young woman hit a parked car on Bellaire Drive outside of the Royale Orleans West Condos, according to police on the scene.

The SUV hit a red Jeep and spun so that it was facing the opposite direction.
An officer on the scene said accidents involving parked cars in the area are common.
The red Jeep belonged to a student who was supposed to return to Texas A&M at College Station in the morning. Her aunt, who did not want to be named, said guests commonly park on the street.
“I wish people would just pay attention to where they are going,” she said. “Where else are they going to park?”
