With the return of the annual Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo this weekend, spectators should expect a few changes to the usual excitement.
This year, the Confederate battle flag is being banned from the official events at the stock show, according to WFAA.
Another difference in this year’s show is the allowance of open carrying in accordance with the new Texas state law that went into effect on Jan. 1.
There are some restrictions to openly carrying guns at rodeo events which are listed here.
The Stock Show is a popular attraction in Fort Worth, but fans should be prepared for a few minor changes when the event starts this Friday.
