Thunderstorms, fog, and even golf-ball sized hail were the conditions that Fort Worth residents woke up to this morning. The storms began early this morning around 4 a.m., and continued to pelt down large pieces of ice until around 6 a.m. Rain, thunderstorms, and fog conditions stuck around for a little longer until around 7:30 a.m. The hail damaged many vehicles, windows, and even killed some exotic birds at the Fort Worth Zoo. Stay tuned for more updates from the109 about further weather conditions.
