TCU’s Chick-fil-A passed out samples Tuesday morning to give students a taste of the new additions to the campus menu.
The new menu items included chick-n-minis, four different flavors of milkshakes and a refreshing frosted lemonade. In addition to the samples, the Chick-fil-A cow was on hand to greet customers.
“Chick-fil-A Day” was a way for the restaurant to show its appreciation for students, faculty and all those apart of the TCU community, said Drayon Amerson, retail supervisor.

Amerson said this is a day to show appreciation to their customers.
“We just want to say that we love you TCU students,” Amerson said. “We love working for you all and you guys make our jobs so much easier and fun. We thank you for your support.”
Many students were excited about the new menu items.
Sophomore education major Ali Smith said she is excited about the new items, especially the chick-n-minis.
“I’ve always come to Chick-fil-A,” Smith said. “But, I’ll be coming here more often because of the new additions.”
Sophomore education major Gracie Tate said she loves the milkshakes.
“Milkshakes are bomb,” Tate said. “I’m a big fan of vanilla. I plan on coming here every Tuesday.”
Sophomore movement science major Adeola Akomolafe also enjoyed the menu.
“The new items were really good,” Akomolafe said. “Chick-fil-A is so good in general, so it really met my expectations.”
