Students looking to blend competition with community service have an upcoming opportunity in the 20th annual Delta Dunkfest Saturday, March 3. Delta Delta Delta is hosting the event to raise money for Camp Sanguinity, a week-long summer camp for patients at Cook Children’s Hospital. “I participated in Delta Dunkfest last spring and it was so much fun to play the game while also competing with some of my friends for a great cause,” Katie Adams said. This year, the tournament will include 3-on-3 basketball games for students who sign up to compete. “The camp is not only special because it lets the patients participate in fun activities, but they are the only camp at Camp John Marc, their host camp, that brings siblings to camp for the week,” Grace Cannan, Delta Delta Delta’s philanthropy chair, said.
