Five members of the TCU Rifle Team combined to earn 13 All-American selections for their performances this season: seniors Mindy Miles and Ariana Grabowski, junior Rachel Marsh, sophomore Casey Lutz, and first-year student Elizabeth Marsh.
Garner and Miles were each named first team small-bore All-American by the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA). The CRCA awards their All-American honors based on season aggregate average and the duo ranked sixth and seventh nationally in small-bore.
Grabowski, Lutz, and Marsh were all named to the second team.
In Air Rifle, Garner, Lutz, and Miles were all named to the first team by the National Rifle Association (NRA). Miles had the second-best average in the nation at 597.4. Lutz and Garners averages of 595.3 and 592.9 ranked sixth and 10th respectfully in the nation. Marsh was the lone Horned Frog to qualify for the second team with an average of 592.6
The CRCA also handed out All-American Honors based on season aggregate averages for Air Rifle and Smallbore combined. Miles was named to the first team after having the fourth-highest aggregate score in the nation at 1,181.
Garner was named to the second team while Lutz and Marsh qualified for the third team.
Miles’ three honors capped her career total at eight while Grabowski will finish her time at TCU as a three-time small-bore All-American.
