Do you plan on voting today? If so, Uber, Lyft or Lime will take you there. According to Pew Research Center, 3 percent of all registered voters in the 2016 presidential election didn’t vote because of issues with transportation. Three percent doesn’t sound like a lot, but that is approximately 15 million people that were registered to vote, but didn’t. This year, ride share companies won’t let transportation problems be an excuse. Lyft, Uber and Lime are offering discounts on Election Day travel. You can look up your polling place here, and request a ride to go vote before 7 p.m. tonight.
