TCU wrapped up their 2019 recruiting class with commitments from Dylan Jordan and Darwin Barlow, among others, to put the finishing touches on the Big 12’s third best class.

The team signed 22 of their 29 signees during December’s early signing period, adding the final seven on Wednesday.

One of the biggest signings of the day came from Jordan, an outside linebacker from Pittsburg, Kansas. The No. 14 ranked outside linebacker in the country, Jordan has great versatility, blistering speed off the blitz and possesses all the intangibles to be a playmaker at the collegiate level.

“Our kind of linebacker, a guy that can go run,” head coach Gary Patterson said of Jordan.

Barlow, a four-star running back from Newton, Texas, officially inked his name with the Frogs early Wednesday morning.  In Barlow, the Horned Frogs found a back that Patterson called one of the best in the state. The No. 4 ranked running back in Texas, Barlow scored 37 rushing touchdowns and ran for over 2,100 yards, averaging 13.4 yards per carry in his senior season.

Keeyon Stewart, a three-star defensive back, announced his commitment Tuesday night via Twitter in a tweet with only one word: “committed.” Stewart was wrestled away from Big 12 rival Texas Tech and is ranked as the No. 12 corner back in the state of Texas.

In his senior season, Stewart helped lead Galena Park-North Shore to a Texas 6A State Championship. His 4.5 40-yard speed will be a strong asset to him as he goes up against high-powered Big 12 offenses in the future.

Earl Barquet, a three-star defensive end, also signed his letter of intent to join the Horned Frogs Wednesday as another strong addition to the defensive line class. The No.1 weak side defensive end in Louisiana, Barquet is an athletic defender with a knack for disrupting plays and getting in the backfield. Barquet will join fellow three-star defensive end Adam Plant, who enrolled this January.

TCU signed a total of 29 recruits and finished the day with the third-best recruiting class in the conference, according to 247Sports.
