A suicide bombing outside of Afghan president Ashraf Ghani’s campaign rally killed 26 and wounded 32 Tuesday.

Tuesday marked the 100th day of protests in the streets of Hong Kong.
The protesters are fighting against an extradition bill that would allow for Hong Kong citizens to be extradited to mainland China.
Even though Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam scrapped the bill, violence continues to increase as the protest continues amid calls for investigations into police brutality, according to a report by BBC.
Vaping additions on college campuses
An outbreak of lung disease reports related to vaping has caught the attention of several federal agencies and the White House, according to CNN.
The CDC has reported over 380 cases since July and the number only seems to be growing.
Many students continue to smoke e-cigarettes knowing the risks because of convenience, affordability and to compensate for the stress of college, according to those interviewed by CNN.
Baseball legend receives Presidential Medal of Freedom
Hall of Fame pitcher Mariano Rivera received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Trump Monday.
In addition to his accomplishments on the field, Rivera donated scholarships and school supplies to impoverished communities throughout his career, according to NBC.
“[Rivera] is the most dominant relief pitcher in the history of baseball. More than that, he has lived the American dream and shines as an example of American greatness for all to see,” Trump said.
