Trump’s immigration policies under review
The U.S. Supreme Court declared on Monday that it will investigate President Trump’s immigration policies, according to the New York Times.
Trump’s program that delayed entry for at least 60,000 Mexican citizens, along with deviation of $2.5 billion of Department of Defense funds for the construction of the southwestern border wall, are among the policies under the Supreme Court’s review.
The court will also review whether undocumented citizens should be omitted from the 2020 census while determining seats in Congress.
The court’s process might allow Trump to influence the reallocation of congressional seats regardless of the 2020 election results.
