A windy Sunday in Texas left cars covered in a layer of dust.

The dust storm that hit West Texas and portions of Oklahoma rolled in from the West and then continued to the Eastern portions of Texas, according to WFAA.

The storm not only coated cars in a layer of dust but also lowered the air quality.

The air quality in TCU’s zip code had an “unhealthy” rating, according to the Air Quality Index.

Texans are not the only people feeling the effects of West Texas dust.

“The massive storm system currently making its way through the Midwest had “kicked up a huge area of blowing dust” that made its way into Nebraska and Iowa,” according to ABC Nebraska.

NWS Omaha and Kansas City Fox 4 also reported mud rain, which occurs when the dust in the air mixes with the rain causing mud to form and stick to cars.
