Taylor Swift’s appearance at Kansas City Chiefs game causes major buzz
Taylor Swift attended a Kansas City Chiefs football game Sunday amid rumors that she is dating the Chiefs’ star tight end, Travis Kelce and Kansas City has profited, according to NBC.
Recent rumors about Swift and Kelce dating have caused a buzz on the internet. Kelce, a two-time Super Bowl champion, and Swift, a 12-time Grammy winner, were seen leaving Arrowhead Stadium after a Chiefs’ win.
Swift was seen in Kelce’s suite sitting next to Donna Kelce, Travis Kelce’s mother. Swift was also seen doing “slow-motion chest bumps” and giving high-fives to Donna Kelce throughout the game.
Swift’s appearance at the game caused a 400 percent increase in Kelce’s jersey sales, passing up superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
Many fans also started making up nicknames for the couple like “Traylor.”
Kelce said on his “The New Heights Podcast” that everyone who was in the suite with Swift had nothing but good things to say about her and that it was a fun time all around.
Fox hosts second Republican primary debate
The second Republican Party primary debate took place and was quite the affair, according to CNN.
The debate had each candidate at each other’s throats with former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie calling former President Donald Trump as “Donald Duck” because he “hides behind his golf clubs.”
Former Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis took aim at Trump for skipping both of the debates.
Even with all of the attacks, former President Trump still appears to be the leader in the GOP race.
Senate issues formal dress code
The Senate unanimously passed a bill making business attire mandatory for the Senate floor, according to CNN.
Sen. John Fetterman has been seen wearing casual clothes in the chambers in recent weeks, sparking much controversy.
There has never been a written dress code for the Senate, but with Sen. Fetterman appearing unprofessional in recent weeks, the need for a dress code was felt.
Men are now required to wear a coat, tie and slacks. A dress code for women has not yet been defined.
