Updated Aug. 19:
Braden Johnson from TCU athletics said the university has declined to give an official comment regarding Sedona Prince.
Prince’s status with the team remains intact, he said.
A Change.org petition is calling on TCU to remove power forward Sedona Prince from the women’s basketball team.
The petition, which has collected 164,000 signatures, was created on Aug. 14, after Prince’s former girlfriend detailed allegations of abuse on TikTok.
Olivia Stabile, who has 730,000 followers on TikTok, uploaded a 10-part series of videos on Aug. 14 recapping a trip they took to Mexico for Prince’s birthday. Each video has millions of views.
Stabile said Prince pushed her off a four-wheel ATV and left her stranded in the jungle outside of their resort in Mexico.
Stabile also said that after Prince returned with the ATV, she flipped it on its side and pushed Stabile when she tried to offer aid.
Prince has since disabled commenting on her Instagram, but TMZ‘s coverage of the fallout from Stabile’s videos included a screenshot from Prince’s Instagram.
Braden Johnson from TCU athletics said the university has declined to give an official comment on the matter. Prince’s status with the team remains intact.
This is a developing story.
