Attend Other Sporting EventsHorned Frog football will not be the only TCU team playing over family weekend. The TCU volleyball team will play UCLA at home on Friday, Sept. 13, at 6:30 p.m. The TCU women’s soccer team is also playing at home on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 1:00 p.m. against Cal Poly. The TCU Parent and Family Program Tailgate Every year during Family Weekend, TCU hosts a tailgate for all students and family members outside the football stadium. The tailgate includes catered buffet-style meals, non-alcoholic beverages, lawn games and much more. This tailgate is a great way for students and families to meet one another, alumni and others belonging to the TCU community. Kappa Alpha Theta 5KEvery year during TCU Family Weekend, Theta hosts their annual philanthropy event, Casa 5K. This event helps to raise money for CASA of Tarrant County, an organization that provides abused and neglected foster children with advocates in the foster system. This family-friendly philanthropy event allows families to support a good cause. The event is perfect for all ages to finish off the busy weekend.
