Three Boutique, originally opened by Mickie Cooles in 2016, has blossomed under the leadership of new owner Camryn McLelland, quickly gaining national recognition for its unique style and community-driven focus.
Three was named by Cooles for her three daughters, and McLelland decided to keep the name in honor when taking over.
McLelland bought Three in November 2023 after beginning her career in real estate. Since taking leadership, her passion and dedication for the boutique has helped the business grow.

Located less than a mile from TCU, the students have helped Three’s popularity exponentially.
“Students come in to shop after, before or even in-between classes,” McLelland said.
As TCU students travel all over the country, Three’s name is shared with them.
TCU women often model for the store’s Instagram, and the majority of her staff are TCU students. Her love for Three and the TCU community are the building blocks to the boutique’s success.
“Three has taught me that there is no right or wrong way when it comes to how you run your business,” McLelland said. “Three is a passion and lifelong dream of mine. If you’re genuine in your work and do the best you can do every day, the results will follow.”

Three’s Instagram has surpassed 13,600 followers and continues to grow each day largely due to dedication McLelland’s dedication to her work.
Her advice for young entrepreneurs is “to limit the distractions and learn to ignore the white noise in the world we live in. Give every day your best and things will fall into place.”
