Kirstin Angosta birdied three of her final four holes to clinch both individual and team titles for No. 23 TCU women’s golf at the Jim West Challenge, on Monday in San Marcos, Texas.
The Horned Frogs finished at 22-under-par 842, edging Houston by one stroke and Oklahoma by two to secure their second tournament victory in three starts this fall.
“I cannot express how proud I am of this team,” head coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin said. “Today was a battle and they continued to show grit and stayed dedicated to their process throughout the day. It was tough, but they proved to be tougher.”

The dramatic finish saw TCU trailing Oklahoma by two shots with three holes remaining before Angosta’s late surge. The sophomore from Las Vegas, Nevada finished at 10-under 206 (69-69-68) to claim TCU’s first individual title since Sofia Barroso Sá won the Barbara Nicklaus Cup in 2022.
“I am so happy and proud of Kirstin,” Ravaioli-Larkin said. “She was so incredibly consistent and patient all week. It was only a matter of time before she won.”
Freshman Camille Min-Gaultier finished tied for second at nine-under 207 (69-70-68). Min-Gaultier birdied six of her first 14 holes in the final round before paring her way in. Sofie Dimitrova, competing as an individual, recorded her first career top-10 finish, tying for 10th at six-under 210 (72-68-70).
Barroso Sá continued her consistent play, tying for 22nd at one-under 215 to mark her fourth straight top-25 finish this season. Senior Meagan Winans and freshman Gracie McGovern both tied for 37th at 3-over 219.
This victory marks TCU’s 54th all-time team championship and 20th under Ravaioli-Larkin. It’s also the first time since the 2018-19 season that the Horned Frogs have won multiple tournaments in the same semester, following their victory at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational in September.
The final team standings put TCU (-22) on top, followed by Houston (-21), Oklahoma (-20) and Ohio State and Texas Tech tied for fourth at 15-under 849.
The Horned Frogs will conclude their fall season by hosting the inaugural Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate at Ridglea Country Club in Fort Worth, Oct. 28-29. The 54-hole tournament is free and open to the public.
