Three sexual assaults have been reported on the TCU crime log as of Oct. 25. All instances occurred in campus housing, two this month and one in January 2024.
On Monday, Adrian Andrews, assistant vice chancellor of public safety, sent an email notifying the campus of the two most recent assaults.
“In the first instance, a third party has reported a student was sexually assaulted in campus housing by a known individual who was a guest of another student about three weeks ago,” according to the safety bulletin. “In the second instance, one student was sexually assaulted by another student in campus housing over this past weekend.”
A university spokesperson said, “The TCU Department of Public Safety (DPS) is actively investigating reported incidents involving sexual offenses. We take these reports very seriously, are grateful to those who came forward and remain committed to fully supporting the impacted individuals while working to ensure a safe campus environment. Due to the ongoing investigation, we’re unable to share further details at this time.”
