The Horned Frogs secured a 71-48 win over the Alcorn State Braves after a tough loss on the road against Michigan.
The first half opened slowly as the Frogs struggled to follow through on clean passes. While TCU shot 56.5% from the field and 53.8% from three-point range, the team’s nine turnovers limited momentum.
Ernest Udeh Jr. sat out his second consecutive game due to a lower back injury. The team relied on David Punch and Malick Diallo at center. Punch ended the game with 10 points and Diallo with eight.
Punch said he wanted to prove he could be a protector in the center, and Udeh’s absence has been a big learning experience for him. He hopes to have Udeh back soon, but in the meantime, he continues to learn.

TCU led 39-22 at the half but still had to come out strong and clean up its game to ensure the Braves had no room to challenge.
The second half went smoother for the Frogs as they regained control of the ball with only two turnovers.
There was very little scoring compared to the first half, with TCU only shooting 45% from the field and Alcorn State only 30%.
Trazarien White led the Horned Frogs with 14 points, four rebounds and one assist.
White said the team’s chemistry is continuing to build, and they are just trying to take it game by game.
The 4-1 Horned Frogs will face Santa Clara on the road on Thursday, Nov. 28. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m., and the game will be available for streaming on truTV and Max.
