TCU pulled out a come-from-behind win as they overcame a 4-0 deficit and defeated San Diego University 5-4.
San Diego University struck early as they got a home run in the first inning from first baseman Jack Gurevitch. They added onto it with a second inning home run from catcher Jayden Lobliner. They scored another pair of runs in the fifth inning to extend its lead to 4-0.
TCU had an opportunity early in the game as it led the second inning off with a pair of walks, then the runners advanced to second and third on a groundout.
Shortstop Anthony Silva struck out, and catcher Karson Bowen struck out with the bases loaded to end the inning.

The Frogs ended up striking in the sixth inning. They got on the board with a two-run home run from third baseman Isaac Cadena. In the seventh inning, TCU tied the game up on a two-run inside-the-park home run from Bowen.
The game went into extra innings, and in the top of the 10th inning, TCU sealed the victory. Second baseman Cole Cramer delivered sacrifice fly that gave TCU the win.
It was not the most impressive day for TCU offensively, as they only had five hits and they struck out 16 times combined. San Diego University had nine hits and struck out 14 times.
On the pitching side, TCU got a solid performance from starter Caedmon Parker. He went 4.1 innings allowing five hits, four runs while collecting five strikeouts.
The real star for TCU was Braeden Sloan. In four strong innings, he allowed three hits, no runs and racked up eight strikeouts.
Louis Rodriguez earned the save, pitching 1.2 innings with one strikeout.
The second game of the series will take place at 7 p.m. CT with right-handed Tommy LaPour taking the ball for TCU.
