The Horned Frogs pocketed their first Big 12 win and ranked sweep at the Outrigger Duke Kahanamoku Beach Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Day one
TCU kicked off the tournament with a split performance, falling 4-1 to No. 3 UCLA before bouncing back with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over No. 5 Stanford.
Maria Gonzalez and Allanis Navas claimed TCU’s sole point against the Bruins, marking their first collegiate win as a pair. Against Stanford, Kaitlyn Bradley and Sofia Izuzquiza notched their first-ranked collegiate victory.
Day two
TCU split again on day two, falling 3-2 to No. 7 LMU but rebounding with a dominant 4-1 win over No. 11 Arizona State, securing their first Big 12 victory of the season.
Alvarez reached a career milestone with her 100th victory, partnering with Moreno to defeat LMU at the No. 1 spot. The Sun Devils matchup saw first-year Frog Stacy Reeves earn her first collegiate-ranked win, while Gonzalez and Navas continued their strong performance with another ranked win as Alvarez reached her 100th career win.

Day three
The Horned Frogs ended their weekend on a high note with a 5-0 sweep over tournament host No. 12 Hawai’i, marking their first sweep over the Rainbow Wahine in program history. Reeves and Izuzquiza continued their impressive debuts, while Gonzalez and Navas clinched the win from the No. 3 spot.
In the final match of the tournament, TCU battled No. 1 USC in a closely contested 3-2 loss. Alvarez and Moreno added another win to their record, finishing the weekend 5-1, while Gonzalez and Navas secured TCU’s second point at the No. 3 spot.

The Horned Frogs return to Fort Worth for the Purple and White Scrimmage on March 1 before hosting the TCU Invitational on March 7-8.
