No. 2 seed TCU beat No. 7 seed Louisville 85-70 in their home finale to advance to the Sweet 16 and finish the season undefeated at home.
TCU started hot, shooting 69.2% from 3-point-range in the first half, going into halftime with a 47-26 lead. Agnes Emma-Nnopu led the Frogs with 23 points and Donovyn Hunter had 18.
Emma-Nnopu shot 8-12 from the field and went 4-7 from the 3-point-line. Hunter was 6-6 from the field and 4-4 from 3-point-range. Hailey Van Lith posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 assists.
“Donovyn and Agnes work so hard and they live in our practice facility, it is neat to see when people who work really hard and it for them to be rewarded on a stage like this,” head coach Mark Campbell said.

TCU set a women’s basketball attendance record with 7,494 packing the Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena.
“The crowd and students were awesome,” Van Lith said. “The crowd got us through some tough moments where we started to turn the ball over. The home court advantage was there today, and it was an amazing way to go out at home, and we are thankful for it.”
This is the first time TCU has advanced to the Sweet 16 in program history.
“These wins alter a program’s trajectory, impact recruiting, and establish us as one of the best teams in college basketball,” Campbell said.
On Saturday, TCU will face No. 3 seed Notre Dame in the Sweet 16.
