The Center for Career and Professional Development has an accessible photo booth that shoots free headshots for students Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Iris PhotoBooth was designed by a company that assists colleges and businesses in providing professional headshots for their students and teams, said Mike Caldwell, the Executive Director of the TCU Center for Career & Professional Development.

The photo booth was installed this school year when the Career Center team saw how popular the headshot opportunities were at career fairs.
“That option was working great, but lines are often long and sometimes students would like an option to take a photo outside of the event,” Caldwell said. “Over 250 student photo sessions have been completed in the first 6 months.”
Once students walk up, they sign in with their TCU email and the photo booth allows them to take three photos at a time. Students can retake their photos as many times as they want. It is free and offers a tutorial during sign-in.
The booth offers an option to retouch and edit the photos after being captured. The photos are exported and sent to the student’s TCU email within seconds.
The Career Center recommends professional and neutral attire when using the photo booth.
“Avoid stripes, bright whites or contrasting colors for the best results,” Caldwell said.
“I used the career center booth in March to take professional headshots for my resume and LinkedIn,” Mallory Marder, a senior sports broadcasting major, said. “This helped me a lot because I am getting prepared to enter the workforce post-graduation.”
The Career Center is located in The Harrison and “plays a crucial role in preparing students for life after college and in helping alumni through career transitions,” according to its website.
