Reagan Stephens has been elected TCU’s next student body president, becoming the first woman to hold the position since 2020-2021.
“I am incredibly honored to have the opportunity to lead TCU as your next Student Body President,” Stephens announced on Instagram Thursday. “I want to thank everyone for their overwhelming support throughout the election. I’m ready to get to work to create real, positive results for students.”
Stephens, who campaigned on her “REAL Results” platform and earned endorsements from outgoing President Dominic Mendlik and other SGA leaders, will be sworn in next fall. She has indicated that her parking ticket relief program will be her first major initiative.
Her opponent, Charity Ketu, graciously conceded, writing: “Huge Congrats to @reagan4tcu! I know she’ll do an awesome job as President!”
Ketu also affirmed her continued commitment to serving TCU students.
As Stephens prepares to take office, she faces the dual challenge of making history while delivering on campaign promises. With strong campus support behind her, TCU’s newest student leader now turns from campaigning to governing—transforming platform points into concrete improvements for the Horned Frog community she’ll serve.
