As graduation approaches, TCU seniors are looking for the best locations to capture their senior portraits. Students said that there are three locations on campus that stand out, commemorating their time at TCU.
Creative Commons
Located on the east side of campus, the Creative Commons are nestled among the TCU Music Center, the Moudy Complex and the Fine Arts Building. The green space provides a scenic and naturalistic backdrop for senior portraits.
Its relative distance from the hustle of campus living offers students a quiet and spacious area to capture shots. The bridges connecting the buildings amplify the space’s photogenic quality.
“There’s this little bridge area that’s surrounded by flowers,” said Mariana Valdivia, who graduated in 2024 with a degree in women and gender studies. “That’s one place I took good photos of a friend once.”
The BLUU Arches

The archway at the Brown-Lupton University Union on Stadium Drive serves as a visually striking location for senior photos.
This landmark marks students’ entrance to campus in their first year and their departure as graduates.
“This is the first spot I walked through at TCU,” Nicole Espinoza, a graduating senior strategic communication major, said. “This spot represents the start of my journey,” she said.

At the center of TCU’s campus, Frog Fountain serves as a symbol of the college journey.
The fountain’s four flutes represent the different classifications of students. Water flows from the tallest to the shortest flute, signifying the passing of knowledge and traditions from one generation to the next.
“It was the first thing that caught my eye when I entered campus,” Espinoza said. “It’s a must for photos. That is for sure.”
Whether you are graduating in the arts or in the sciences, these spots offer a space for graduates of all majors, representing the journey and beauty of our campus life.
