Congressional committee releases supposed Trump-signed note and drawing
Newly released documents from the Epstein files included what appeared to be a drawing and signed letter from President Donald Trump to Jeffrey Epstein, prompting new controversy among Americans, according to The New York Times.
The sketch — an outline of a woman drawn in black ink — included a signature reading “Donald” at the bottom. The note was reportedly intended as a birthday gift for Epstein.
President Trump and his campaign have since posted on social media denying any ties to the image.
“As I have said all along, it’s very clear President Trump did not draw this picture and he did not sign it,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt posted on social media.
Salmonella outbreak attributed to home delivery meals
A food safety alert has been issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention after a salmonella outbreak was linked to ready-to-eat home delivery meals from Metabolic Meals, according to ABC News.

“CDC and public health officials in several states are investigating a multistate outbreak of Salmonella infections linked to certain home delivery meals made by Metabolic Meals,” the CDC said in a statement.
A total of 16 people have been affected across 10 different U.S. states and seven have been hospitalized, according to the CDC.
The list of meals potentially carrying salmonella has been identified as four separate menu items.
Metabolic Meals has reached out to customers directly who purchased meals from the list to inform them of the outbreak.
