“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” was suspended indefinitely by ABC after comments Kimmel made regarding Charlie Kirk’s death, according to AP News.
During his show Monday, Kimmel claimed in his opening monologue that Trump supporters were trying to portray the man accused of killing Kirk as anything other than part of “Make America Great Again” movement.
ABC preempted the show shortly after Nexstar Media Group said its affiliates would stop airing it indefinitely. Nexstar President Andrew Alford said, “Kimmel’s comments about the death of Mr. Kirk are offensive and insensitive at a critical time in our national political discourse.”
Ben & Jerry’s co-founder Jerry Greenfield resigns after clash with parent company Unilever

Jerry Greenfield, co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s, has resigned as “brand ambassador” of the company after a dispute with its parent company, Unilever, according to Reuters.
Greenfield said in a letter shared on social media that Ben & Jerry’s has recently been “sidelined for fear of upsetting those in power.” The company sued Unilever last year over what it claimed were efforts to silence its activism.
In his letter, Greenfield said he would continue to carry his values outside the company with “love and conviction.”
Man dies after riding new roller coaster at Universal’s Epic Universe in Orlando
A man became unresponsive while riding the Stardust Racers roller coaster at Universal’s new park Wednesday night and was later pronounced dead at a hospital, according to NBC News.
The ride is closed as of Thursday morning while the Orange County Sheriff’s Office investigates the cause of death.
A spokesperson for Universal said, “we are devastated by this tragic event and extend our sincerest sympathies to the guest’s loved ones.”
