Trump, Vance and Erika Kirk speak at Charlie Kirk memorial service
Charlie Kirk’s memorial was held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona where Kirk’s conservative advocacy organization, Turning Point USA, is based with over 63,000 people in attendance, according to CBS News.
The service was first announced on the official Turning Point USA Instagram, inviting people to join and celebrate Kirk’s life with remarks from President Trump, Vice President JD Vance and widow Erika Kirk, the new CEO of Turning Point USA.
Admission to the service was “first-come, first served” basis with a TSA-level screening to enter, according to fightforcharlie.com.
President Trump said something he disagreed on with Kirk was that he did not hate his opponents, but that he wanted the best for them. Trump said, “I hate my opponents and I don’t want the best for them. I’m sorry,” according to The Hill.
FAA outage halts North Texas flights, thousands affected

DFW International Airport and Dallas Love Field grounded hundreds of flights because of cut fiber optic cable lines, according to a statement from American Airlines Chief Operating Officer David Seymour.
The Federal Aviation Administration explained that the cables that were cut supported all of the area’s radars, radio frequencies and computer systems; this was also shared to employees, said Seymour.
This equipment outage left the airlines with no communications with incoming flights, according to NBC DFW.
According to FlightAware data, over 280 delays and 155 cancellations were reported at Dallas Fort Worth Saturday afternoon.
Saturday morning the FAA said operations in DFW and DALS were back to normal.
Gunman arrested after fatal shooting at Nashua wedding
Wedding guests panicked when a 59-year-old was fatally shot with two others injured at Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire, Attorney General John Formella said.
Police arrested 23-year-old Hunter Nadeau with one count of second-degree murder after Robert Steven DeCesar died, according to NCB News.
There seems to be no connection to the shooter and the victim, Formella said, the attacker said the words “free Palestine” during the attack.
Guests instantly thought the shots were balloons popping, two other adults were wounded from the shots, while four others received injuries that were not gunshot wounds, Formella said.
Christopher Nolan elected president of the Directors Guild of America

Oscar-winning “Oppenheimer” filmmaker, Christopher Nolan, has been elected to lead the Directors Guild of America taking over from outgoing president Lesli Linka Glatter, according to NBC News.
“Our industry is experiencing tremendous change and I thank the Guild’s membership for entrusting me with this responsibility,” Nolan said, “it is one of the greatest honors of my career.”
The Directors Guild of America, which represents about 19,500 film and television directors worldwide, also hosts the annual DGA Awards.
Alongside Nolan who were also newly elected are Ron Howard, Gina Prince-Bythewood, Laura Belsey and former president Paris Barclay. As well as board members are Steven Spielberg and Phil Lord.
