TCU hosted the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational presented by Charles Schwab this week at Colonial Country Club. This is the eighth time the event has been played at Colonial.
The invitational is one of the nation’s top men’s college golf tournaments. Of the 15 schools participating, 13 are ranked in the top 25 nationally.
The tournament began Monday, Sept. 29, at 8 a.m. with 36 holes to be played.
Round One
At the conclusion of Round One, TCU was tied for ninth place with Alabama and Pepperdine at 8-over par.
Junior Toby Wilt finished 1-over par with two birdies, landing him in 24th place. Wilt was the highest-placed player from TCU.

Sophomore Charlie Wylie followed not far behind with three birdies, ending 2-over par and tied for 34th along with teammate Jack Beauchamp. During the 2024-25 season, Wylie made eight eagles, the fourth most by a TCU player in a season.
Round Two
Round Two began at 1 p.m., marking a swift transition from Round One. The Horned Frogs persevered throughout the day and ultimately finished in 11th place.
Senior Jack Beauchamp carded back-to-back consistent rounds, finishing at 2-over through 36 holes. His efforts landed him tied for 19th, keeping TCU in the mix.
Freshman Nathan Miller shot 1-over, improving from his round one score of 73 by two strokes.
Miller’s combined 4-over through two rounds placed him inside the top 40 along with Beauchamp.
TCU will look to move up the leaderboard tomorrow when the final round tees off at 8 a.m.
