TCU will honor ten finalists for the Outstanding Senior Award and reveal the winner at halftime of Saturday’s Homecoming football game against the Baylor Bears.
The Outstanding Senior Award is a long-standing tradition that honors one TCU undergraduate student for their significant contributions to the university.

TCU Student Activities encourages each organization to nominate one candidate for the award. The selection process involves applications, voting and interviews.
Round 1 of voting took place Monday, Oct. 6 and TCU revealed the top ten candidates Wednesday, Oct. 8. These candidates were chosen based on their essays (25%), resume (25%) and student vote (50%).
This weekend, the ten finalists will be honored on the field during halftime, and the winner will be announced as part of Homecoming celebrations.
“I think being an outstanding senior means to reflect the values and standards that TCU has instilled in us,” nominee Lainey Stranberg said. “The organization that nominated me for this award was my sisters in Pi Beta Phi. My involvement on the executive board led to their decision, as well as my accomplishments for Harris College of Nursing.”

TCU has hundreds of seniors in leadership positions across campus organizations. Students describe this award as individuals who are passionate about their pursuits and committed to improving the world around them, exemplifying what it truly means to be a Horned Frog.
“I was fortunate to have our Student Government Association nominate me for the award in the first place, and I am even more grateful that the student body put their support behind me as a finalist for Outstanding Senior,” nominee Reagan Stephens said. “It is not me that I am representing during Homecoming this week. I am a representative for my 11,000 student constituents, the nearly 4,000 Panhellenic women in my Greek community, and the almost 100 members of SGA.”
