Generations of TCU alumni piled into Fort Worth once again last weekend to celebrate their alma mater’s homecoming.
The homecoming theme, “Decades of Winning,” honored the proud Horned Frog legacy of accomplishments, strengths and school spirit that have shaped TCU students, alumni and fans.
Here is what alumni said about their homecoming return:

“Being part of the Horned Frog family is such a blessing,” Sarah Campbell, Class of 2018, said. “From growing up cheering on the frogs to my dream coming true of going to TCU just like my mom, to now raising my family here in Fort Worth, TCU holds a very special place in my heart. TCU gave me lifelong friends who are more like family, and now aunts to my babies! Whether it’s going to football games in the fall, taking our little ones to the TCU Christmas Tree Lighting and Easter Egg Hunt each year, I’m constantly reminded of how special my years at TCU were, and how thankful I am to stay connected to the place that means so much to me.”
Each alum has their own story of how TCU impacted their lives.
“I remember the first time I visited TCU, my Dad joked with our tour guide, saying, ‘What is in the water here?’ because everyone just seemed so genuinely happy and in love with this school,” Lauren Emery, Class of 2024, said. “That has stuck with me because I felt like it rang true in every aspect of my experience at TCU, and it is what keeps me coming back to visit ever since. There’s an inexplicable sense of pride in being a Horned Frog, and everyone’s true joy to be a part of the community at this school makes it a special place to be.”

This past weekend, alumni reunited with classmates, shared memories and reflected on what it means to come home to Fort Worth.
“Coming back to TCU and seeing all my best friends for the first time after graduating last spring has reminded me why I love TCU,” Sydney Thuna, Class of 2025, said. “TCU has helped me become who I am today, so being at homecoming finally allows me to support the university that always supported me!”
