TheEnd at TCU is known for hosting multiple events throughout the school year for student engagement. These events bring students together using performances from comedians, actors and, in this case, musicians.
TheEnd has played a role in hosting multiple concerts at TCU over the years, featuring artists like Offset, Ross Lynch, Ludacris and many more.
This time, rap artist Waka Flocka Flame will be performing on Friday, Oct. 24, in the Campus Commons area located between residential buildings King, Wright, Carter and Samuelson Hall. The gates will open at 7:30 p.m. and the concert will start at 8 p.m.

“TheEnd does a concert every year, and our students suggested and super excited about Waka Flocka Flame,” Kelly Lee, director of student activities, said. “We are grateful he was available for the date.”
TCU concerts have seen recent popularity, with over 1,000 students usually in attendance.
Some of Flame’s best-known music includes songs such as “No Hands,” “Grove St. Party” and “Hard in da Paint,” from his album “Flockaveli.”
Students, faculty and staff must bring their TCU ID to gain entrance to the concert. Each person with an ID can bring a plus one. Attendees will not be allowed to bring in any coolers or chairs.
“TheEnd strives to create fun and engaging events for the TCU Community,” Lee said. “We want to create memories that make our students’ time at TCU unique and memorable.”
The students who help put on campus concerts encourage students to come out and have a good time. It is a great opportunity to enjoy live music, have a great time with friends and even make new ones.
