Rap artist Waka Flocka Flame is scheduled to perform Friday, Oct. 24 in the Campus Commons in a concert hosted by theEnd.
The concert is part of theEnd’s effort to boost student engagement with entertainment that includes performances from comedians, actors and, in this case, musicians.
Over the years, theEnd has hosted artists such as Offset, Ross Lynch and Ludacris.
Gates to Friday’s free concert open at 7:30 p.m.; the concert is set to start at 8 p.m.

“TheEnd does a concert every year, and our students suggested and super excited about Waka Flocka Flame,” said Kelly Lee, director of student activities. “We are grateful he was available for the date.”
TCU concerts are popular, with over 1,000 students usually in attendance.
Some of Flame’s best-known music includes songs such as “No Hands,” “Grove St. Party” and “Hard in da Paint,” from his album “Flockaveli.”
Students, faculty and staff must bring their TCU ID to gain entrance to the concert. Each person with an ID can bring a plus one. Attendees cannot bring in any coolers or chairs.
“TheEnd strives to create fun and engaging events for the TCU Community,” Lee said. “We want to create memories that make our students’ time at TCU unique and memorable.”
The students who help put on campus concerts encourage students to come out and have a good time. It is a great opportunity to enjoy live music, have a great time with friends and even make new ones.
