Hurricane Melissa reaches Category 5
The National Hurricane Center stated Hurricane Melissa had intensified into Category 5, according to The Washington Post.
Located about 280 miles from Guantánamo, Cuba, flash floods and landslides are expected to occur.
Hurricane Melissa is predicted to make landfall in Jamaica Monday night or Tuesday morning and move into Cuba Tuesday night.
A cargo plane is pulled from Hong Kong waters after deadly crash

After veering off a Hong Kong runway and plunging into the sea, the main wreckage of the cargo plane was recovered on Sunday days after fatal crash, according to AP News.
Flown by Turkey-based ACT airlines, the Boeing 747 skidded into the water after landing last Monday.
Two workers were killed as the plane collided with a patrol car, sending both into the sea.
Representatives from the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board, Turkey’s Transportation Safety Investigation Center and Boeing are all involved in the investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
U.S.–China trade tensions ease as Trump arrives in Malaysia

Multiple suspects arrested in connection to the Louvre jewel heist

French officials have made multiple arrests in connection with the theft of crown jewels from the Louvre Museum in Paris last weekend, according to Fox News.
According to Paris prosecutor Laure Beccuau, arrests were made on Saturday evening.
The number of arrests made is not confirmed, but Le Parisien newspaper reported that at least two suspects have been taken into custody.
It is unknown if the jewels have been recovered.
