Bagel lovers in the TCU area now have a sourdough option.
Dan’s Bagels’ newest location is just off Forest Park Boulevard in the building that formerly housed Enchiladas Ole’.
The shop experiences its heaviest traffic during breakfast and lunch hours, making it a convenient food option for students looking to eat in between classes.
Yelp rated it among the 2025 top 10 bagel shops in the U.S. and Canada. It offers scratch-made sourdough bagels and unique toppings.
Less than a mile off campus, some students have been lining up to try it, but the reviews are mixed.

Some students said the quality, convenience and presentation of the bagels have made it a popular choice.
“I loved how many options there were, and I thought it was delicious,” Brynna Hernandez, a junior nursing major, said. “I also like that it’s sourdough, so it’s good for your gut health.”
Others said its popularity is driven more by its newness rather than its quality, and the bagels are no different from those of other local bagel shops near campus.
“I’ve had it a few times, and I don’t think it is that amazing,” Kinlee Young, a junior psychology and political science double-major, said. “I honestly prefer Einstein Bros more. I just think it is new, and everyone wants to try it.”
Despite mixed reviews, Dan’s Bagels has become one of the many popular food options for students, especially for those seeking quick and easy meal options to take on the go.
